If you missed it on Wednesday evening, we have released our SDS Week 5 picks. In addition to those selections, we like to bring you the weekly predictions from The Power Rank as you head into your weekend.

If you are unfamiliar with The Power Rank, these numbers come via Ed Feng’s analytics system, known as The Power Rank. Feng’s metrics used have accurately predicted the winners of college football games from the 2015 season to the 2017 season 73.7 percent of the time — with an overall record of 1679-598. That number is even more impressive when you factor in that The Power Rank does not pick FBS games against FCS competition.

Last weekend, The Power Rank accurately predicted seven of the eight SEC games on the schedule.

Here is how The Power Rank predicts every Week 5 SEC game for the coming weekend (the Vanderbilt-Tennessee State game is not listed due to TSU being an FCS opponent):

  • Kentucky will beat South Carolina by 1.2 points at home. The Gamecocks have a 46 percent chance of winning this game on the road.
  • Mississippi State will beat Florida by 6.4 points at home. The Gators have a 32 percent chance of winning this game in Starkville.
  • LSU will beat Ole Miss by 7.7 points at home. The Rebels have a 28 percent chance of winning this contest in Death Valley.
  • Texas A&M will beat Arkansas by 17.9 points in Arlington. The Razorbacks have a 10 percent chance of beating the Aggies on this neutral field.
  • Georgia will beat Tennessee by 35.5 points at home. The Volunteers have a 1 percent chance of winning this game in Athens.
  • Alabama will beat Lafayette by 51.9 points at home. The Crimson Tide have a 100 percent chance of winning this game in Tuscaloosa.
  • Auburn will beat Southern Miss by 30.3 points at home. The Tigers have a 97 percent chance of winning on The Plains.
