Randall Cobb is reuniting with Aaron Rodgers in New York.

The former Kentucky WR/QB started his career in 2011 with Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, eventually moving on to Dallas and Houston for 1 year each before making a return to northeast Wisconsin.

The writing has been on the wall for some time with Rodgers’ future in Green Bay. He’s openly criticized the Packers’ front office and many thought he would not play for the Packers in the 2022 season. He returned for one final year and was traded to the New York Jets last week.

And on Wednesday, Cobb signed a 1-year deal with the Jets to reunite with his close friend in New York.

Cobb’s prime has passed him by, but he is still a solid option for a Jets squad that features Garrett Wilson, Allen Lazard and Mecole Hardman. Corey Davis, another Jets receiver, could be on his way out with a $10.5 million non-guaranteed salary due this year.
