Ray Davis scores 1st playoff TD of career in Bills-Ravens game

Ray Davis continued his standout rookie season by scoring the first playoff touchdown of his pro career in Sunday’s AFC Divisional clash between the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens.

Answering a Ravens score, the Bills went on an 11-play, 70-yard scoring drive of their own. At the 1-yard line, Buffalo turned to Davis to punch it in for 6.

After finishing his college football career at Kentucky, Davis was picked No. 128 overall in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Bills.

Playing a complementary role to James Cook, Davis finished his rookie season with 113 carries for 442 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns. He added 17 catches for 189 yards and 3 scores.

Davis played 5 seasons of college football. He began his career at Temple in 2019. After 2 seasons with the Owls, he opted to transfer to Vanderbilt. Davis spent 2 seasons with the Commodores before heading to Lexington for his final season.

At Kentucky, Davis put up the best numbers of his career. A starter in all 13 games, Davis rushed 199 times for career-highs of 1,129 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also had his best receiving season in the UK offense, recording 33 catches for 323 yards and 7 scores.
