Not a single 2018 recruiting class from the SEC is complete following the first ever early signing period, but some classes are closer than others following the three-day window for prospects to sign letters of intent.
LSU, Georgia and Kentucky all took advantage of the period and each signed 20 prospects for the 2018 recruiting cycle. As was predicted by many heading into the period, several new staffs around the SEC struggled a bit juggling the transition and recruiting during this initial period. Arkansas (8 signees), Texas A&M (10), Florida (13) and Tennessee (13) all signed smaller classes while Ole Miss (14) and Mississippi State (15) both managed the early period much better than many may have expected when Matt Luke and Joe Moorehead were both officially hired at their respective schools.
