Netherly is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound pass catcher. He had over 1,000 yards receiving at Crosby High School this year, and scored 22 touchdowns.

Georgia, Missouri, Michigan State, Texas Tech and Oklahoma were among the 14 FBS schools that had made offers to Netherly before he chose Texas A&M.
The Aggies have verbal commitments in this year’s class from four-star receiver Quartney Davis and three-star wideouts Moses Reynolds and Kendrick Rogers.
