Three Georgia football assistant coaches are reportedly heading into the 2021 season with longer contracts.
According to Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald, Kirby Smart assistants offensive line coach Matt Luke, inside linebackers coach and co-defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann and defensive line coach Tray Scott, agreed to one-year contract extensions earlier this year.
Weiszer details that Luke is now signed through the 2023 season and on a contract until June 30, 2024. Schumann and Scott, meanwhile, are signed through the 2022 season.
The records obtained by Weiszer did not disclose any raises with the extensions. Luke makes $900,000 per year while Schumann and Scott are paid $600,000 each.
