Collin Sexton’s time in Tuscaloosa is coming to an end.

Alabama’s outstanding freshman guard plans to declare for the upcoming NBA Draft and does not plan on returning to school for his sophomore season according to Matt Zentiz of AL.com. He projects to be one of the top picks in the upcoming draft.

The freshman averaged over 19 points per game last season. He helped lead Alabama to a 19-15 overall record and an 8-10 SEC record.

Among Sexton’s more memorable highlights from last season includes his game-winning shot against Texas A&M in Alabama’s opening round game of the 2018 SEC Tournament. The Crimson Tide did win a game in the NCAA Tournament before losing to eventual champion Villanova in the Second Round of the tournament.
