A few weeks after announcing the extension and raises of several assistant coaches, Florida will reportedly hand the rest of the staff nice offseason rewards following back-to-back SEC East championships.
After giving new defensive coordinator Randy Shannon, along with three other assistants, nice bonuses this offseason, an open records request has revealed the salary figures for the remaining members of the staff.
According to Thomas Goldkamp of Gator Bait/247Sports, the following raises have been given out by the school:
- OC Doug Nussmeier extended thru 2019; salary up from $540k (in addition to $300k from Michigan) to $842k
- DL coach Chris Rumph extended thru 2020; salary up from $500k to $600k
- TE/SPT coach Greg Nord extended thru 2019; salary up from $400k to $420k
- WR coach Kerry Dixon extended thru 2019; salary up from $285k to $300k
- LB coach Tim Skipper extended thru 2019; salary up from $500k to $600k
Following the last month flurry of commitments, this is just the latest sign that the Florida program is trending in the right direction as the program attempts to reach Atlanta for the third consecutive season under Jim McElwain.
