The injury bug continues to bite the Gators in fall camp as true freshman defensive back Christopher McWilliams has been lost for the season due to an ACL tear he recently suffered.
Zach Abolverdi of SEC Country first reported the news. McWilliams was not seen at Florida’s Thursday morning practice.
McWilliams was ranked as a three-star prospect in for Florida’s 2016 recruiting class and was the No. 124 cornerback recruit in the nation according to 247Sports.
The true freshman joins offensive lineman Antonio Riles, who was also injured in fall camp, as recent Gators lost for the season before their season ever truly began.
