Alabama set an SEC NFL Draft record with 12 players selected this weekend, but standout CB Tony Brown wasn’t one of them.
Brown, however, signed a free agent deal with the Chargers following the draft, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Brown, from Beaumont, Texas, was ranked a 5-star prospect exiting high school and rated as the nation’s No. 2 overall CB, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. Brown should have a got shot to make an NFL roster in 2018.
