Since he was a fourth-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, former LSU LB Kwon Alexander has spent his entire NFL career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He made the Pro Bowl in 2017 and has been a productive player when he’s been able to stay on the field.
Now, he’s landing a huge new contract. Per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Alexander will become the highest-paid inside linebacker in the NFL by signing a 4-year, $54 million contract with the San Francisco 49ers:

That works out to about $13.5 million per season for the former Tiger. He tore his ACL six games into the 2018 season, though, so we’ll see how healthy he is for the start of the 2019 campaign.
In four years, Alexander has 380 career tackles, seven sacks, six forced fumbles and six interceptions.
