During his recent appearance on the Pardon My Take podcast, Tom Crean didn’t back down from wanting to compete head-to-head in recruiting with his new SEC colleague John Calipari. We aren’t sure if this fits into that category but does go to show how far Crean is willing to go to land a prospect.
According to Evan Daniels of 247Sports, Crean’s Georgia program has landed a commitment from Lithuanian prospect Ignas Sargiunas. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound Sargiunas is listed as a guard prospect by 247Sports among 2018 basketball prospects. He does not have a star ranking at this time.
In recent weeks, Sargiunas has visited Arizona State and SMU.
