Report: LSU gets great news about elite signee Edwin Alexander

LSU reportedly received great news about one of its top signees Edwin Alexander Tuesday morning.
According to Derek Ponamsky with ESPN 104.5 FM, LSU received the news that Alexander has been cleared by the NCAA.
If the report is correct, then the 6-foot-1, 320-pound prospect will add instant depth to the middle of Dave Aranda’s defense at nose tackle and help bolster the Tigers’ defensive front.
Alexander was rated as the country’s No. 8 overall defensive tackle and the state of Louisiana’s No. 4 overall prospect.
A graduate of the University of Florida and founder of Saturday Down South, Kevin is a college football enthusiast.
