After Monday’s Liberty Bowl win over Mizzou, it was reported that Oklahoma State OC Mike Yurcich was leaving the Cowboys to take a new job.

Many thought that job could be the open offensive coordinator position at Tennessee, but now it appears that won’t be the case.

Instead, ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg reports that Yurcich will head to Ohio State to join Ryan Day’s new staff next year:

So, that means the Vols are still looking for an offensive coordinator, and it’ll be back to the drawing board for Jeremy Pruitt and his staff.

Who they turn to next remains to be seen, but this search is taking a head-scratching amount of time so far.
