Report: UGA OLB coach Kevin Sherrer expected to be Tennessee’s new DC

New Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt is wasting little time putting together his staff.
Pruitt is expected to hire within the SEC for his DC position. College football insider Bruce Feldman reported that Pruitt and Tennessee are expected to hire Georgia OLB coach Kevin Sherrer to take over the Vols’ defense.
In addition to Sherrer, Pruitt is bringing in long-time SEC assistants Tracy Rocker and Chris Rumph as defensive assistants. No doubt Pruitt is putting together a great coaching staff, but it’s also a great recruiting staff.
SOURCE: #UGA OLB coach Kevin Sherrer is expected to be the #Vols new DC under Jeremy Pruitt. In addition, Tracy Rocker and Chris Rumph are expected to join that D-staff. Lots of good experience there, especially in the SEC.
