Reports: Mississippi State DB Chris Stamps has transferred

The Bulldogs will be without one returning defensive back in 2017.
After two years at Mississippi State, Chris Stamps is reportedly heading to junior college. Multiple reporters on Twitter are stating that Stamps has transferred to Northwest Mississippi Community College.

Stamps, a product of Warren Central in Vicksburg, Miss., was the 247Sports Composite’s No. 11 Mississippi prospect when he signed with MSU in 2015. After redshirting in 2015, Stamps played in nine games and recorded two tackles last season.
