It appears Reuben Foster will once again avoid legal prosecution stemming from an alleged domestic violence charge. The former Alabama standout was recently released by the San Francisco 49ers following allegations of domestic violence at the team’s Tampa-area hotel but that claim may not hold much water.

While the NFL organization worked quickly to remove Foster from the team, TMZ Sports is reporting Foster will not face charges following these allegations as the State Attorney’s Office in Florida has dismissed the misdemeanor charge against the linebacker.

Foster also had an arraignment set for Thursday, which has also been canceled according to TMZ Sports.

Soon after Foster was released by San Francisco, Washington picked him up on waivers. In his two NFL seasons, Foster has racked up 101 tackles after being selected with the No. 31 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
