Rick Neuheisel has seen what is going on in college football, and now the season is hitting the home stretch.

Teams are looking to create the separation to win its conference and make a run at the College Football Playoff.

One of the biggest games is Week 12 as the Texas Longhorns travel to Athens to take on Georgia in a rematch of last year’s SEC Championship game. While the Bulldogs are favored in this game, Neuheisel thinks the Longhorns will get the win.

Rick Neuheisel has seen how Arch Manning is playing, and he believes that will be enough for Texas to get a huge win in Week 12.

“I will go to Longhorn island, and here is why,” Neuheisel said. “First of all, Arch Manning has thrown for over 700 yards the last two games. That second half against Mississippi State was an eye-opener and then he followed it up with a great performance against Vanderbilt.”

The Longhorns were on the outside looking in a few weeks ago, but they have went on a big run and are in control of their own destiny when it comes to the College Football Playoff. A win against Georgia would not only exact some revenge from last season, but it would put the Longhorns in a great spot to get back to the CFP.
