Robbie Roper arrangements: Family releases celebration of life, scholarship details

Robbie Roper will be remembered at a celebration of life event on Monday as his family has announced details to remember the high school quarterback out of Georgia who passed away this week.
The Poole Funeral Home in Woodstock, Georgia will host visitation from 5-9 p.m. on Monday, and a celebration of life event will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Woodstock First Baptist Church.
The family has also established a scholarship fund through a GoFundMe account. It had already raised nearly $9,000 on more than 100 donations out of a goal of $20,000.
Roper was a quarterback at Roswell High School in Georgia, and following complications from surgery, he passed away earlier this week.
Roper was 6-foot-3 and 213 pounds, and had a reported 4 offers to play in college at UMass, Morehead State, Morgan State and Western Carolina. Roper also recently received interest from Florida.
