Elite defensive end lists 4 SEC teams in top 7

One of the nation’s most elite prospects could play in the SEC.

Norcross, Georgia, native Robert Beal listed four SEC programs in his top seven. Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee made the cut, joining Florida State, Texas and Miami. Beal decommitted from Notre Dame last month.

Beal is rated a four-star prospect and the country’s No. 36 overall player, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. The site also lists Beal as the country’s No. 3 overall weakside defensive end and the No. 3 player in the state of Georgia.
