Robert Griffin III couldn’t help himself at the end of a blowout victory for Michigan against Colorado State.
Alex Orji only got 2 carries for 4 yards, but one of them went for a touchdown and Robert Griffin III didn’t waste a chance to deliver an innuendo, “It’s an orgy in the end zone!,” he said before the broadcast went to a commercial.
The freshman quarterback came out of Sachse, Texas where as a high school senior, he went 127-for-247 passing for 2,064 yards (51.4 percent) with 28 touchdowns to eight interceptions and another 24 rushing touchdowns on 1,187 yards. He also contributed four-plus touchdowns in 4 of 9 games As a junior, completed 99 of 189 pass attempts for 1,403 yards (52.3 percent) with 10 passing touchdowns to seven interceptions; added 926 yards on the ground and another 15 rushing touchdowns, according to his Michigan bio.
Michigan won the game, 51-7 thanks to Orji’s touchdown with 1:43 remaining.
