Robert Griffin III has carved out a role for himself as one of ESPN’s more unpredictable game analysts. While opinions of his style differ, Griffin is certainly unique.
Griffin, along with Bob Wischusen, are on the call of Clemson-North Carolina from Memorial Stadium. Prior to the game, he participated in the Tigers’ long-standing pregame tradition of running down The Hill ahead of kickoff.
Watch the video below as Griffin is startled by the cannon and makes the trek down The Hill himself, along with Dabo Swinney.
“Look at him go, people! Look at him go!” Griffin yelled into the mic. “He’s running like he’s going to pregame chapel. I love it!”

That was before the game. Viewers will have their ears peeled to hear some of RG3’s more, well, interesting in-game thoughts throughout the afternoon as the Tigers face the Tar Heels.
Clemson-North Carolina is on ESPN. The Tigers are looking for a 6th-straight win against the Tar Heels, whose last win at Clemson was in 2001.
