The No. 19 Alabama Crimson Tide entered their week 3 matchup against the Wisconsin Badgers looking to make a statement, and that’s exactly what they have done thus far by absolutely dominating their Big 10 opponent.
One player in particular who has been putting on a show has been the Tide’s star sophomore receiver Ryan Williams, who is back in the lineup for Alabama after missing week 2 with the lingering effects of a concussion he suffered in week 1 against Florida State.
It’s clear that Williams doesn’t have any sort of ring rust, though, as the electric wideout has been making plays all game against the Badgers’ secondary, and the best was a highlight reel-worthy touchdown run early in the third quarter.
Williams hauled in a long pass from Tide quarterback Ty Simpson along the sideline, and proceeded to show off his elite athleticism with an insane juke move that took the ankles of not 1, but 2 Wisconsin defenders before running it all the way in for a touchdown to extend the lead for Bama.
Williams’ calling card since setting foot on campus down in Tuscaloosa has been his uncanny ability to make some of the wildest plays imaginable, and this mind-boggling touchdown just adds to that long list.
With Williams finally appearing to be back to 100%, there’s only going to be more where this came from as the season rolls along for the Tide.
