No. 5 Georgia is set to host No. 13 Texas for the first time ever at Sanford Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 15, with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

The matchup brings back memories from last season, when the Bulldogs beat the Longhorns twice — a 30-15 win in Austin and a 22-19 overtime victory in the SEC championship — but now Georgia gets a chance to settle the score on its own turf.

The Bulldogs are 3-4 against the Longhorns in their seven meetings. Entering a Week 11 matchup with Mississippi State, UGA is 7-1 overall and 5-1 in SEC play. Texas, meanwhile, is 7-2, 4-1 in the conference and riding a four-game winning streak after early setbacks against Ohio State and Florida. Both programs have plenty of momentum, and the stakes in Athens will be tangible as the SEC race tightens in the final month of the season.

This will be Georgia’s eighth consecutive SEC game and the third 7:30 p.m. kickoff on ABC this season, giving the Bulldogs another primetime showcase.

With both teams looking to make a statement, the first-ever meeting at Sanford Stadium promises to be a night to remember for SEC fans.
