SEC announces Player of the Week awards for Week 9

The SEC only had 4 games on Saturday, but those games featured plenty of great individual performances.

After the paltry slate of games, the SEC released its list of Players of the Week. A total of 8 different players were honored.

As you can see below, Mizzou, Mississippi State and Auburn each had 2 players honored for big performances this week:

  • Co-Offensive Player of the Week: Tyler Badie, RB, Mizzou
  • Co-Offensive Player of the Week: Will Rogers, QB, Mississippi State
  • Co-Defensive Player of the Week: Zakoby McClain, LB, Auburn
  • Co-Defensive Player of the Week: Nolan Smith, LB, Georgia
  • Special Teams Player of the Week: Harrison Mevis, K, Mizzou
  • Defensive Line Player of the Week: Colby Wooden, DL, Auburn
  • Offensive Line Player of the Week: LaQuinston Sharp, C, Mississippi State
  • Freshman of the Week: Trevin Wallace, LB, Kentucky
