The SEC’s office in Birmingham, Alabama, was certainly impressed with Kentucky and Tennessee this week. The conference office awarded eight SEC players following Week 9, and five of the eight play on the Wildcats and Vols.
Headlining the players of the week are Tennessee wide receiver Jauan Jennings and Kentucky quarterback/wide receiver Lynn Bowden. The duo was named the co-offensive players of the week. Jennings torched South Carolina with 172 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Bowden totaled 258 yards of offense and two touchdowns in the win over Missouri. Both players looked unstoppable.
