Looking ahead two weeks in the SEC schedule, we have some terrific league games coming our way in Week 5.

Depending on how things shake up between Mississippi State and Georgia in Week 4, the Dawgs trip to Knoxville could serve as an elimination game for SEC East contention between Tennessee and UGA.

Meanwhile, Vanderbilt’s trip to Florida could also loom large in the East race.

Mississippi State and Auburn will be meeting hoping to establish themselves as serious West contenders. Ole Miss will be coming off a bye and gets two weeks to prep for the trip to Tuscaloosa.

The only crossover game of the weekend features South Carolina’s trip to College Station.

Monday, the SEC announced the official kickoff and television schedule for the Week 5 slate:

Week 5 SEC Kickoff Times (Sept. 30 – All Times ET)

  • Vanderbilt at Florida, Noon, ESPN
  • New Mexico State at Arkansas, Noon, SEC Network
  • Georgia at Tennessee, 3:30 pm, CBS
  • Eastern Michigan at Kentucky, 4 pm, SEC Network
  • Mississippi State at Auburn, 6 pm, ESPN
  • Troy at LSU, 7 pm, ESPNU
