Arkansas nearly won the College World Series this year but in order for the Razorbacks to make a return to Omaha and redeem the program’s runner-up status in 2018, the team is going to have to conquer a rugged SEC in 2019.

In a recent Baseball America post, three SEC programs were selected to make trips to the College World Series in 2019. Florida, LSU and Vanderbilt were the selections made with Georgia and Mississippi State being selected as projected Super Regional teams.

Judging by that list, Dave Van Horn’s program will be tested early and often in conference play next season but on the positive side, playing in the SEC may be the best preparation for another run heading into the 2019 College World Series.
