The SEC will feature some of the biggest games during college football’s ‘Rivalry Week’ next weekend. Many of the games have historic meaning like the Egg Bowl between Mississippi State as well as the Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn.

However, it is Tennessee and Vanderbilt this season that is as big of game in the SEC as any other next weekend. This weekend, the conference announced that kickoff for the game would be at 3:30 p.m. ET, with the game on ESPN.

With Diego Pavia, the Commodores are 9-2 on the season, and have a legitimate chance to make it to the College Football Playoff. Pavia is coming off the best game of his career on Saturday, as he threw for a school-record 484 yards in the win against Kentucky.

While the Volunteers are on the outside of the CFP chase, they are still putting together a solid year. They moved to 8-3 on the season with a dominating victory at Florida on Saturday night.

This rivalry hasn’t been competitive recently, as the Volunteers have won each of the last six games. None of the games have been closer than 13 points, and that was last season’s matchup in Nashville.
