SEC football fan on Reddit creates banners for every SEC team to hang from 2024 season

For most SEC teams, the 2024 season was not a “banner” year.

Georgia, Tennessee and Texas all made it to the College Football Playoff, which is certainly banner-worthy. UGA also picked up a conference championship. Even so, all 3 teams saw disappointing ends to their season by either Ohio State or Notre Dame, the two teams that played for the national title.

An LSU fan, though, decided the other SEC programs should be able to hang banners for 2024, too. These are, of course, mostly jokes.

Vanderbilt was not made fun of after going 7-6, a season that included a win over Alabama and a Birmingham Bowl victory. Mizzou also avoids mockery as the lone SEC squad to beat a Big Ten team in a bowl game. Mississippi State’s 2-10 season, however, simply gets a laugh with not even a fake boast as a joke.

The other 13 teams, however, all get ribbed. The post pokes fun at Georgia’s driving issues and the squirrels at Ole Miss, while most of the banners are related to performance on the field. Auburn, meanwhile, is just celebrating the return of basketball season.
