Welcome to Week 12! The season is rolling along, and this is the first Saturday of action since the College Football Playoff selection committee released its top 25.
In the SEC, we’ve got 6 games on tap. Ole Miss is taking a break from SEC play, hosting The Citadel, but the other 5 games are conference contests.

The battle of the bulldogs gets things started. The cowbells will be going loud when Mississippi State hosts No. 5 Georgia in the early window.
No. 3 Texas A&M at No. 22 Mizzou is the only ranked-on-ranked showdown. The hype surrounding the game has calmed with the injury to Mizzou QB Beau Pribula. The Tigers are turning to true freshman Matt Zollers in Pribula’s absence.
The afternoon window also features Auburn on the road at No. 16 Vanderbilt. AU is playing its first game since the dismissal of Hugh Freeze. Defensive coordinator DJ Durkin is the interim head coach.
The evening window features another interim head coach. Frank Wilson is leading LSU at No. 4 Alabama after the firing of Brian Kelly.
Florida and Kentucky are also in the evening window. UF interim coach Billy Gonzales is coaching his second game after the firing of Billy Napier.
