Welcome to Week 6 of the 2024 college football season! Saturday’s SEC slate doesn’t have the national hype of Week 5, but we’ve got another exciting lineup with 6 ranked squads in action, including 4 on the road.

There is only one SEC matchup of 2 ranked teams on Saturday, and it’s in the early window. No. 9 Mizzou is at No. 25 Texas A&M. It’s the first road trip for the Tigers, who have posted a 4-0 record at home. Eli Drinkwitz’s squad is the betting underdog against a Texas A&M team that has a loss already (Week 1 against Notre Dame), but also a pair of conference wins over Florida and Arkansas.

No. 5 Georgia came up short in Week 5 at Alabama, and now the Bulldogs host a team from the Heart of Dixie. Auburn visits Athens for the latest edition of the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry.

No. 12 Ole Miss is on the road after a home loss. The Rebels fell to Kentucky in Week 5, and are looking to bounce back against South Carolina.

No. 1 Alabama is in Nashville, facing a Vanderbilt squad that took Mizzou to double overtime last month. Crimson Tide staffers put out rodent traps to make sure UA players are aware of the potential trap game.

No. 4 Tennessee is on the road again. This time, the Vols face an up-and-down Arkansas squad in Fayetteville.

Florida is the only SEC team facing a nonconference opponent. The Gators are hosting UCF for the first time since 2006. Gus Malzahn’s squad beat the Gators in the 2021 Gasparilla Bowl, which was just the third-ever meeting between UF and UCF.

Here’s the full schedule for the day:

  • No. 9 Mizzou at No. 25 Texas A&M – 12:00 p.m. ET on ABC
  • Auburn at No. 5 Georgia – 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC
  • No. 12 Ole Miss at South Carolina – 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN
  • No. 1 Alabama at Vanderbilt – 4:15 p.m. ET on SEC Network
  • No. 4 Tennessee at Arkansas – 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC
  • UCF at Florida – 7:45 p.m. ET on SEC Network

Enjoy a full day of football, everyone!
