SEC Nation is back for another season of college football.
The crew was in Gainesville on Saturday for Florida’s in-state rivalry showdown with Miami. The SEC Network has announced that the pregame show is returning to UF campus next month.
SEC Nation will spotlight the Gators again in Week 3 when Florida hosts Texas A&M. Before that the show is heading to Lexington for the Week 2 contest between South Carolina and Kentucky.

SEC Nation debuted on August 28, 2014. For the 2024 season, the pregame show is planning to regularly follow the site of the 3:30 p.m. “SEC on ABC” showdown. Laura Rutledge will host the show for her eighth season, her ninth on the show overall, joined by Tim Tebow, Paul Finebaum, Jordan Rodgers and Roman Harper. Like Tebow, Rutledge is a UF alum.
South Carolina and Kentucky have a series that dates back to 1937, with the programs facing off annually as SEC East opponents from 1992-2023. While the SEC no longer uses divisions in football, the Wildcats and Gamecocks will continue to play in 2024 and ’25. South Carolina has a 20-14-1 lead in the series after last year’s 17-14 win in Columbia.
Florida and Texas A&M have met just 6 times. The series is tied 3-3. The Gators won the last meeting 41-24 in College Station. The Aggies claimed the last meeting in Gainesville, a 19-17 win in 2017.
Texas A&M has a new head coach in 2024, as the former defensive coordinator is back in Aggieland to lead the program. The Aggies open the season ranked No. 20, hosting No. 7 Notre Dame. Florida is also facing a ranked opponent to open the season, No. 19 Miami.
