Heading into the season, Cubelic is going with Tennessee’s Trey Smith at No. 1 followed by Alabama’s Deonte Brown, Georgia’s Ben Cleveland, LSU’s Ed Ingram and South Carolina’s Sadarius Hutcherson. It’s no surprise to see Smith at No. 1. The Volunteer standout was recently named a 2020 Walter Camp Preseason All-American.
Cubelic acknowledged that another Vol could find his way into the top 5 if ruled eligible for the upcoming season.
