SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic names his top 5 centers for the 2020 season
The 2020 season will be here before we know it, and it’ll be interesting to see which SEC offensive lines are able to jell quickly and which need some time.
With no spring session, many teams will have to adjust on the fly this summer as we head into the fall. Having a strong center anchoring the offensive line makes that easier.
On Tuesday, SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic (a former Auburn offensive lineman) named the top 5 centers in the SEC for the 2020 season:

As you can see above, he has Kentucky’s Drake Jackson at No. 1, followed by Georgia’s Trey Hill, Tennessee’s Brandon Kennedy, Alabama’s Landon Dickerson and Auburn’s Nick Brahms.
Will another center make a name for himself this season? We’ll find out in September!
Trey Hill is gonna be a rock to build around this year.
Facts
Thank you, thank you, thank you for giving some recognition to an unappreciated offensive position. I hope there are more stories about the top offensive linemen in the league. I would love to see some new statistics released to the general public that show analytically how valuable the offensive line is to the offense.
On behalf of former great centers like Forrest Blue, Bob Johnson, and Dwight Stephenson, and even Lee Roy Jordan, you are honorable for including the quarterback of the offensive line in your reporting.
Lee Roy Jordan the Linebacker?
