The LSU-Texas A&M rivalry game should be a very interesting matchup.
This game will have a carry-over effect into 2019, too. Quarterback play from Kellen Mond and Joe Burrow may be the deciding factor.
SEC Network analysts and hosts of Thinking Out Loud Marcus Spears and Greg McElroy are split on their predictions for Saturday night. Spears, the former LSU standout, is leaning towards LSU because of its consistent play this year.
“I think LSU is the better team … I look at the levels of play right now, and I think LSU is played more consistently throughout the season,” Spears said.
McElroy, on the other hand, is leaning towards Texas A&M, because of its offense.
“I don’t know if LSU is the better team … That front-seven is ridiculous. That front-four for Texas A&M is as good as anyone in the entire SEC. I am leaning Texas A&M in this one because I trust their offense more than what LSU is going to run out there.”
Kyle Field will certainly be rocking for this matchup, and the winner will have bragging rights and certainly more momentum heading into the post-season.
LSU travels to Texas A&M Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. ET.
