The SEC had another epic showing during Round 1 of the NFL Draft.
Fifteen former standouts from the conference were selected. It ties a record set by the SEC in 2020 for most picks from one conference. Newcomer Texas and Georgia led the way with 3 picks each.
Here is the complete list of SEC players who were drafted during Round 1 on Thursday night in Green Bay:

- No. 17 – Shemar Stewart, Edge, Texas A&M – Cincinnati Bengals
- No. 20 – Jahdae Barron, DB, Texas – Denver Broncos
- No. 23 – Matthew Golden, WR, Texas – Green Bay Packers
- No. 25 – Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss – New York Giants (via trade with Houston Texans)
- No. 26 – James Pearce Jr., Edge, Tennessee – Atlanta Falcons (via trade with Los Angeles Rams)
- No. 27 – Malaki Starks, DB, Georgia – Baltimore Ravens
- No. 30 – Maxwell Hairston, DB, Kentucky – Buffalo Bills
- No. 31 – Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama – Philadelphia Eagles (via trade with Kansas City Chiefs)
While Thursday was an exciting night for the conference, there are still plenty of big names from the conference, including Jalen Milroe and Luther Burden, available for Round 2. Friday’s action in Green Bay is set to start at 7 p.m. ET.
