The SEC is out with the Week 8 schedule.
Tennessee-Martin will play the Vols at noon ET, while Ole Miss and LSU will get the 3:30 p.m. “SEC on CBS” treatment. Vanderbilt and Missouri are set for 4 p.m. on the SEC Network, and the night games will be Mississippi State against Alabama, and Texas A&M against South Carolina.
The SEC West certainly has the intriguing games as several East teams are on bye weeks for Oct. 22. Although South Carolina could make another statement game against Texas A&M when the Gamecocks welcome the Aggies to Williams-Brice Stadium in what shapes up to be a spirited atmosphere.
Ole Miss and LSU could be playing for second place in the West, and Mississippi State gets its latest shot to prove it belongs as a contender in the division when it visits Tuscaloosa.
