The SEC has pulled in the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class every year since 2008, when the Miami Hurricanes had the top class.
This year was no different, as Georgia beat out Ohio State for the top class in the nation, signing an incredible seven 5-star athletes.
However, at the other end of the spectrum, the SEC has also signed some very disappointing classes, and Arkansas joined that mix in coach Chad Morris’s first year on the job.
As you can see below, the Hogs didn’t come close to setting the record for the worst recruiting haul since 2007 (when Kentucky only ranked 116th in the country), but it was still a disappointing effort:

Coming off a 4-8 season in which coach Bret Bielema was fired, the Hogs need to rebound under Morris.
However, this year’s uninspiring recruiting class won’t make that easy for Arkansas’s new regime.
