The South Carolina Gamecocks have been hit hard by the transfer portal this offseason, and the bad news continued on Tuesday.

That’s because, per Matt Zenitz of AL.com, another player — this one a guard who started 13 games for Frank Martin’s squad in 2020-21 — has entered the transfer portal.

Per Zenitz’s tweet below, Seventh Woods, who transferred from North Carolina to South Carolina to play last season, has entered the portal and will explore his options:

Woods transferred to South Carolina prior to the 2019-20 season, but redshirted that year due to NCAA transfer rules.

This past season, he appeared in 18 games, starting 13 of them. He averaged 5.4 points, 1.9 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals per contest.
