Tennessee players are ready to add some new teammates.
The early signing period begins Wednesday, which means the Vols will officially add some of the players who have committed to them in the 2020 recruiting class. They’ll also likely add some new recruits who will make their decision at signing day ceremonies.
It’s always an exciting time for teams and fans alike, as these commitments and signings can alter the course of the program for years to come. And there are quite a few players on Tennessee who realize that.
Several Vols players took the time to give their pitch to what makes the school a good choice for recruits, as shared in a clip from Marshall Hughes of WATE 6:

Tennessee had a strong 2019 season, as it won five straight games and six of its last seven to end the regular season and become bowl eligible. The Vols are set to face Indiana in the Gator Bowl on Jan. 2.
So, if there are recruits who aren’t ready to decide during the early signing period, perhaps a strong bowl performance by Tennessee can persuade more of them to join the program on National Signing Day on Feb. 5.
