Shane Beamer flipped his first recruit as the head coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Three-star Georgia Military College cornerback Isaiah Norris (Anderson, South Carolina) flipped to the Gamecocks from Middle Tennessee. He also had offers from Tennessee and Washington State, among others. He had ben committed to Middle Tennessee since July.
Although Norris signed with the Gamecocks last week, he didn’t reveal that decision until Christmas Day.

The 6-foot, 170-pound defensive back is ranked as the nation’s No. 9 JUCO cornerback for the class of 2021, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Norris’ JUCO teammate Marcellas Dial also signed with the Gamecocks during the Early Signing Period.
The Gamecocks now have 9 signees and 1 commitment for the recruiting class of 2021. It’s ranked 100th in the nation.
