Shane Beamer spoke to media members on Sunday evening. He discussed the injury situation after South Carolina’s Week 1 win over Georgia State.

Offensive lineman Jakai Moore left Saturday’s game. Beamer said Moore could have returned on Saturday but is questionable for Week 2 against Arkansas. Moore’s injury may be worse than initially thought.

Safety R.J. Roderick is also currently described as questionable. The team will know more about Roderick on Monday. Roderick is a 5th-year player and multi-year starter. Last season, Roderick accounted for 64 tackles and 2 forced fumbles.

Running back Christian Beal-Smith missed the Week 1 contest. Beamer indicated Beal-Smith, a 6th-year grad transfer from Wake Forest, could return in Week 2.

Beamer’s squad travels to Arkansas for a noon ET kickoff on Saturday.
