Three-star athlete commits to Alabama over Auburn

Dadeville, Alabama, athlete Shawn Jennings didn’t hold a press conference to announce his college commitment. Instead, he did it in a very quiet manner on Twitter.

Jennings committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide over Auburn and Memphis.

The 6-2, 215-pound athlete is rated as a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, and he’s ranked as the 25th best player in the state of Alabama.

Although Jennings is listed as an athlete, he’ll play safety for the Crimson Tide, and he became Alabama’s 19th commitment for the 2016 recruiting class.

Jennings’ older brother, Anfernee, signed with Alabama this past February to play defensive end.
