Georgia added to its top-ranked recruiting class on Monday night as New Orleans native Shone Washington announced his pledge to Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs.

The Warren Easton standout is listed at 6-3, 287 pounds and rated 3-stars, the No. 21 Louisiana product, No. 69 defensive lineman and No. 454 prospect overall nationally on the 247Sports Composite.

Washington committed to LSU on Aug. 12, 2020. In January, he backed off that pledge. Washington’s recruiting profile lists 18 scholarship offers, including Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Ole Miss Mississippi State, Tennessee and Texas A&M.
