Solomon Williams, 4-star 2024 edge, names 3 SEC options in top 5

Solomon Williams is one of the most sought-after edge defenders in the 2024 recruiting class. After picking up scholarship offers from 46 programs, Williams is narrowing his focus to 5 teams.
Williams is looking at 3 SEC options. Alabama, Texas and Texas A&M all made the cut for his final 5. He’s also considering Clemson and Oregon.

A standout at Tampa (Florida) Carrollwood Day, Williams is listed as measuring 6-3 and 250 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Williams is rated 4-stars, the No. 21 edge defender, No. 41 recruit in the Sunshine State and No. 294 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.
Williams visited his top teams throughout the spring and summer, documenting the trips to Tuscaloosa, Austin and College Station on his social media accounts.
