Four-star offensive line prospect TJ Moore committed to South Carolina.

Moore was down to the Gamecocks and Volunteers, and the Charlotte, North Carolina, native picked USC over UT and NC State. Beating out Tennessee head-to-head is a big-time get for the Gamecocks.

“I just like South Carolina a lot, and it’s close to home,” Moore told The State. “I like the community and all the people around it.”

Moore now becomes the Gamecocks’ 19th commitment for the class of 2017, including their fourth offensive lineman.

Will Muschamp is doing what he did early in his career at Florida: replenishing the offensive roster with numbers.

Moore is rated as the country’s No. 29 overall offensive tackle and the state of North Carolina’s No. 6 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
