South Carolina may not be done with its 2016 recruiting class

Will Muschamp may get another 2016 defender in his recruiting class.

According to The State, defensive end Mykelle McDaniel of Loganville, Ga., is expected to enroll.

“I will be going to USC,” McDaniel told the paper. “I’m just waiting on test scores. They get back on the 20th.”

Although his numbers speak for themselves — 100 tackles and 13 sacks last season at Grayson High, academics have held him back from choosing a program.

McDaniel was rated as the No. 23 strong side defensive end of the 2016 recruiting class.
