After a thrilling national championship victory, Clemson’s flag is flying atop the SC State House building today. Someone at the University of South Carolina, likely a communications or public relations staffer, thought it would be appropriate for the school’s official Twitter account to give a “tip of the hat” to the Tigers with a photo of the flag.
Tip of the hat to our friends at that school in the Upstate. Always an honor to have your school's flag fly atop the SC State House. pic.twitter.com/3fWFUUO2zJ

While a few replies recognized the tweet as classy, the majority of Gamecocks fans who replied were not pleased, to say the least.
