The ‘Cock Commander’ nickname made rounds on social media a few days ago after being proposed as a replacement for Sir Big Spur. For obvious reasons, despite the popularity, the Gamecocks went with another selection.
Rattler, for his part, could be a major factor for the Gamecock program this season. The former Oklahoma signal caller is uber-talented, but didn’t quite fit in for the Sooners and decided a fresh start was in order.
